MEAT, POULTRY & FISH: BAKED STUFFED PORK CHOPS Back to Recipes

3 thick pork chops to the bone
STUFFING:
1-1/2 cups bread crumbs (soft)
1/8 cup butter
1/2 Tablespoon chopped onion, sautéed in butter
1 Tablespoon chopped celery
1 teaspoon chopped parsley
1 cup finely diced apples (tart)
1/8 Tablespoon salt
1/2 cup Fisher Chef's Naturals pecan chips

Open 3 thick pork chops to the bone. Season with salt and pepper. Combine all the ingredients for stuffing. Pack stuffing in chops and hold together with a toothpick. Brown chops on both sides and season. Bake in oven for 45 minutes at 350° F in a covered casserole. Uncover and bake for 15 minutes.

Yields: 3 servings
